Biography

Laura is a Certified Kitchen & Bath Designer (CKBD) with the National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA), and comes with over 15+ years of interior design experience. 

Laura's journey ignited in 1998 during a stroll through the brand new luxury hotel in Las Vegas called...The Bellagio. It was that hotel with all of its fine Italian mosaics, architecture, and flare that inspired her to begin a career in interior designer.

Laura's career started with furniture staging and space planning for model apartment homes in Southern California. She completed her Certification in Interior Decorating in 2004 and managed a boutique tile and stone studio in the Bay Area. She created beautiful custom mosaics which nostalgically brought the Bellagio back to her and was enhancing spaces such as foyers, backsplashes, accents, fireplaces, pools, and outdoor fountains. Laura was now finessing into all spaces within the home... and loving it!  Her design journey further led her through other facets of design, including commercial spaces, kitchen and bath design, whole house projects, and contributing to award winning design firms! Laura's passion and dedication has earned her a reputation unsurpassed in the industry and her clients return again and again for their home improvement needs. In Laura's words, "My clients often turn into lifelong friends, and it's my absolute pleasure to work along side them to fulfill the home of their dreams!"

A member of the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA) since 2010, Laura pursued and earned the highly regarded Certified Kitchen & Bath Designer designation (CKBD) which further accentuated her resume.  For years, she have been consulting clients on all of their interior design needs and guiding homeowners through all aspects of their home remodeling projects.  In addition to her thriving business, Laura is also pursued by Bay Area firms for her expertise and provides freelance design and consulting services.

Laura thoroughly enjoys consulting and helping people create much needed Zen in their lives. She believes your home should be your haven.  Whether it's simple paint color consultation, or a complete kitchen remodel, creating luxurious and mindful spaces for her clients is the best reward.  Laura's sentiment is simple, "If a space makes my clients happy, brings them peace, and provides supreme function, then I have achieved my goal, and theirs.  Everything I do is with that in mind. Peacefulness and mindfulness are an essential part of my mission and a true reflection of what I strive for everyday with my clients."

Philanthropy and volunteering has also been a big part of Laura's life. Laura currently mentors a young lady from Oakland and has been a part of her life for over 6 years through the non-profit organization Be A Mentor, based in Hayward, California (www.beamentor.org). She is a former Board Member and volunteer of Maddie's Fund and a pet rescue based in Pleasanton. Additionally, she have been an active participant with the community outreach foundation called Building Bridges, based in San Ramon, California.
